Being a ‘child’ is considered to be negligent, naive, unstable and so on. Are all these qualities that many consider to be ‘unacceptable’ what allows children to be joyful, loving and open whereas aged men and women are miserable, stressed, tensed, in short, in horrible state of being? If one pays enough attention one can realise that wonder is considered naivety, innocence is considered negligence and freedom is considered instability in today's society.

Once there is is wonder, life is exciting and full of miracles. Once wonder is gone life becomes dull, nothing is exciting and everything is boring just because one thinks one knows. A child is so full of wonder that everything from its foot to the sky seems mind-blowing. Being an adult doesn’t mean you are not a child, Everything that you have been is still within you. Some might say it's not practical and It’s true that a nurturing external environment is not a reality for everyone although here we are mentioning something internal.

Sweetness and openness within like that of a new born is a possibility for everyone and once accessed can be transformative. In its playfulness lies bliss which is what we need to touch in order to live a fulfilling life. Maturing and growing does not mean increasing the burden of duties but rather taking responsibility for everything and opening up oneself to a possibility beyond one’s self-interest.

Life has always been a game and a phenomenal one with no winners or losers just an endless play, if one gets too serious one might just miss the joy it presents. It may make people think you are mad if you start dancing and laughing for no reason like a child though in reality you are having a pleasant experience irrespective of what is being thought of you.

This child is symbolic of the wonderful, innocent and free nature of the life within. This child need not be controlled as it will suffocate it’s growth. Let the child within you flourish, let your life fill with wonder for all the spectacular things happening around and let the bliss that the play of life brings become a reality for you.
